This is a free online workshop to help you understand your rights to equality and freedom from discrimination in Ontario. You'll explore what the Human Rights Code means in everyday life through real-life examples and learn about the protections available in different areas of society.
Expect to Learn

  • Freedom of Conscience and Religion: Understand your right to practice your faith, follow your beliefs, or choose no religion at all.

  • Freedom of Expression and the Media: Discover the breadth of your right to speak, write, protest, and share ideas.

  • The Power to Gather: Freedom of Peaceful Assembly: Learn how your right to peacefully assemble, protest, and participate in public gatherings is protected.

  • Freedom of Association: Explore your right to join unions, political parties, or other groups.
