Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto (NEW) is a non-profit, charitable organization located at Pape and Danforth avenues. NEW’s goal is to promote the social, economic and cultural integration, and personal well-being of women and their families who are new to Canada. Each year, NEW welcomes women from around the globe who want to learn, further their skills, share their experiences and make new friendships in a relaxed setting. In June 2006 NEW opened a second location at Warden and St. Clair avenues.

Since 1983, NEW has greeted newcomers with care, understanding and respect. The NEW staff and its Board of Directors reflect and serve the needs of the community. As advocates for open access to basic human rights (food, shelter, education, health services and meaningful employment) our projects positively affect our clients, their families and the community at large.
