We are looking for experienced Operations/Service Officers to provide a broad range of operational support. These contracts are an excellent opportunity to gain experience in leading Canadian banking and insurance providers. 

Our ideal candidate is and organized team player with strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and excellent computer skills. We are looking for candidates who are flexible to work contracts ranging from 3 months – 1 year. Many roles we recruit for have a possibility of a full time permanent conversion based on performance/business need.

Responsibilities may include: 

  • Performing general to specialized transactions and/or other processing activities
  • Review and authentication of documents, processing and liquidation of portfolios including assets and liabilities
  • Supporting partner relationships and maintaining operational effectiveness to ensure business objectives are met 
  • Providing a high level of administrative support to our business partners ensuring the optimal level of customer service and professionalism
  • Manage efficiently in a multi-tasked environment and ensure deadlines are met
  • Apply appropriate due diligence ensuring accuracy in preparing and promptly completing all required supporting documentation (i.e. reports, payments, invoices, correspondence/communications, data entry, files, etc.)
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality, escalate where appropriate
  • Act as a point of contact for customer queries; Provide subject matter expertise for internal and external parties
  • Work closely in a team environment in order to meet individual and team driven benchmarks and service level agreements
  • Utilize existing data entry skills ensuring speed and accuracy are balanced out
  • Ability to make decisions in order to mitigate loss
  • Actively provide continuous improvement suggestions and communicate value added input during meetings
  • Actively participate in developing, testing and implementing new or enhanced processes and other process improvement initiatives   

Qualifications: 

  • 1-4 years of data entry experience AND/OR
  • 1-4 years of customer service experience AND/OR
  • 1-4 years of administrative support AND/OR
  • 1-4 years of banking experience AND/OR
  • 1-4 years of insurance experience 
  • Auditing/Documentation Experience is an asset 
  • Financial Services Industry experience considered a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of Global, WSS, Murex, Calypso, Oracle, MM, FX, Claim Centre, As400 is an asset 
  • Quick learner (Computer savvy) 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight timelines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong relationship management skills and problem solving skills
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills   
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented   
  • Ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures   
  • Bilingual French is a strong asset 

MUST HAVES 

  • Excellent MS Office: Word, Outlook, Excel 
  • Strong Communication Skills (written and oral) 
  • Team player
  • Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills

Education: 

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree is required
