Job Summary

The Human Resources Data Entry Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the HR department. The position is best suited to a strong administrator with an interest in Human Resources who enjoys variety and thrives when working independently.

Responsibilities

  • Updates and maintains employee records and HR databases using HRIS system
  • Maintains records in system; ensures employee profiles are accurate and up to date
  • Processes documentation for all employees in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • Processes new employee requisite forms necessary to set up payroll
  • Analyzes employee related statistics and reports exceptions

Requirements

  • Completion of a college diploma or university degree
  • Aptitude with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HRIS (Workday preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player with a strong client service approach
  • Acts responsibly and ethically while working with sensitive and confidential personal information
  • Previous experience working in an HR department is an asset
